HEaRT stands for Higher Education and Real-world Training, a no-cost SNHU initiative that serves to help you build the bridge between your coursework and the real-world challenges experienced by companies in your field. Depending on your program of study, you may choose to participate in a HEaRT Challenge or the HEaRT Solutions Lab.

HEaRT Solutions Lab
Overview:
- The HEaRT (Higher Education and Real-world Training) Solutions Lab is a no-cost opportunity for undergraduate students to gain valuable field experience by developing solutions for an organization’s problem or project. The HEaRT Solutions Lab runs similar to a club or organization: you join the Solutions Lab and sign up for a variety of four-week projects. The Solutions Lab will be offered to align with undergraduate term starts in C-5 ( Sep – Oct), C-6 (Oct – Dec) and C-1 (Jan – Mar), C-2 (Mar – Apr).
- You can participate in up to two lab projects during a term offering.

Eligibility:
You may be eligible if you:
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Have earned 12 or more credits
- Are active in one of the following programs:
- Community Health Education
- Health Information Management
- Health Sciences
- Healthcare Administration and concentrations
- Nursing
- Public Health
- Human Services
- Business
