We are a CPA firm looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as an intern during the busy tax season. This is a paid internship, and the salary will be commensurate with the knowledge and experience level of the applicant.
Candidates should be pursuing a BS degree with a concentration in accounting. The applicant must demonstrate proficiency with basic computer skills such as web browsing and searching, Google or Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and others.
The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and always maintain a positive attitude and professional presentation.
Ultimately a top-notch specialist should have strong analytical skills, know when to ask for support, pay attention to detail, and manage his/her time efficiently.
Interns will work with an accountant, CPA, or other tax professional, and duties will include processing and analyzing client data, using tax software to prepare Federal and State Income tax returns, and working directly with clients. All computer related and technical trainings will be provided.
