We are looking for a Administrative and Development Intern this fall semester. The intern will assist us with our Project Petals Builders Program, which connects youth with professionals in mentors in architecture, engineering, urban planning, design, business, environmental sciences, and tech. Also, our environmental Program that connects environmental leaders to resources.
Duties include:
- Plan online/virtual events
- Research and creating marketing/support materials for the Program and online events
- Leading Zoom sessions
- Research grants
- Updating social media on Program and virtual events information
- Enter and update records in Airtable
- Liaison with parents, schools and students
- Outreach to schools and architectural, engineering, urban planning and design professionals
- Outreach to find speakers for panels and virtual workshops
- Find potential sponsors for Program and virtual events
- Reaching out to potential sponsors
- Contacting media to inform them of program and event activities
Requirements
This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be a student who can receive school credit for an internship.
Maintain a high level of professionalism in the workplace.
Complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.
Self-starter who is able to work independently and with others.
