>> My name is Michael Jordan Edinger [assumed spelling]. I am a Vice President with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, commercial banking group. My role is in many different areas. I serve both as analyst for the commercial bank, we handle clients between around $50 million to about $2- to $3 billion dollars, provide them any types of services that financial institutions would help with large companies. When I started in the role it was really just business support, with helping with presentations, doing some analytics on some clients, and making sure that the client managers, who were the relationship quarterbacks, to say they're prepared the best they could be, while going out and making contacts with clients. My role then kind of shifted two years into that, and that became more on the business analytics and strategic planning side, where I, instead of supporting the bankers more directly, I supported my market exec, and from that, he would have me do a lot of pipeline reporting, a lot of market analytics, what's going on with the credit pipeline, what's going on with investment banking, and from that, we would try to gauge as to what was really going on with the portfolio. How can we get ahead and be strategic about our next moves, and different places and act throughout the year. We did that for a while. Did a lot of different projects, analysis, but then I kind of got eager again and said, "You know what? I really want to be with client facing, I don't really enjoy being behind the desk all day, can I change my role?" So again, still being in the same position, which was quite open, they said alright, well you can help us with business development. And so in addition to supporting the bankers directly, I now try to source my own opportunities and try to find qualified companies that we can then lend to, different cash management or treasury management, help them expand internationally. So in my role now, I'm kind of helping source new opportunities and trying to find qualified companies and introduce them to the bank, so that we can offer a full array of products and services.
