THE OPPORTUNITY: Video & Content Editor
REPORTS TO: Co-Founders
LOCATION: Remote

Tend is revolutionizing maternal nutrition with the world’s first prenatal vitamin bar – made entirely from food-based nutrients. Co-founded by a husband-and-wife team, Tend is dedicated to providing expectant parents with clean, snackable nutrition that’s better absorbed than synthetic alternatives. As the first prenatal vitamin company to release full third-party test results, we’re committed to transparency, quality, and building trust with our growing community of parents.

Tend is seeking a part-time Video & Content Editor to create captivating, high-performing video content for organic and paid social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong technical skills and a proven ability to deliver engaging, thumb-stopping content. You are nimble and adaptable, with a startup work ethic. Your work will inspire and educate our audience while supporting Tend’s mission to redefine prenatal nutrition.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit UGC, influencer, and professional footage into short-form content for organic and paid social media campaigns.
  • Create thumb-stopping content that captures attention with compelling storytelling
  • Contribute to static ad creation to support broader marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with brand/marketing teams to brainstorm and execute engaging video concepts.
  • Manage multiple video projects while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Add music, sound effects, motion graphics, and other elements in collaboration with the brand to enhance videos.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in social media and ad content to keep Tend ahead of the curve.
  • Maintain a consistent visual style and production quality across all video projects.

Experience/Requirements:

  • 2+ years of video editing experience.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing short-form video content for social media and ad campaigns, particularly on Meta platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, and Adobe design programs like Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) and their specific video requirements.
  • Excellent visual storytelling, composition, and pacing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Hours & Compensation: 2-4 hours per week, with flexible remote work. Hourly rate based on experience.
